Harry recalls seeing Cressida Bonas for the first time while still reeling from his breakup with Chelsy Davy.
The Duke of Sussex recalls in his biography 'Spare' that he met Bonas through a common friend.
"I was at a music festival when my cousin touched me on the shoulder," he writes. This is my pal Cressida, Harry. Oh. Um. Hello. The setting was unlucky. There are a lot of people, yet there is no privacy. In addition, I was still nursing a shattered heart. On the other side, the scenery was beautiful, the music was great, and the weather was perfect."
"There were sparks," he says. We went out to supper shortly after that. She informed me about her life, her family, and her ambitions. She had aspired to be an actor. Acting was the last career I'd have expected for her because she was so soft-spoken and quiet, and I told her so. However, she admitted that it made her feel alive. Free. She made it sound like she was flying."
