Despite his recurrent complaints about royal life, Prince Harry is apparently opposed to having his royal titles taken away 'forcibly,' according to a royal expert.
In response to news that King Charles is keen on inviting Prince Harry to his coronation despite his previous attacks on the royals, royal expert Daniela Elser said that Prince Harry would be disappointed.
"Charles' kumbaya attitude to his coronation would not seem to be met with much zest by any of his lads," Elser wrote for News AU.
"A source told the Mail last week that 'Harry is being instructed to agree to nothing at this time and 'play it long' right up to the last minute, which is making discussions with him very difficult."
"Harry's camp made it plain that the concept of his just attending the coronation and behaving well only to be stripped of his titles was a definite non-starter."
"While he may at some time decide to renounce his titles of his own will, he objects to the concept of being forcibly deprived of them," Elser added.
This comes amid claims that King Charles and Prince William are at odds over whether or not to invite Prince Harry to the coronation in May; yet, competing reports say that they may be working together to get Harry back to the UK.
