Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Prince Harry will not accompany Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet to King Charles and Queen Camilla's Coronation.
On May 6, the Duke of Sussex will attend the King and Queen Camilla's coronation at Westminster Abbey in London.
Omid Scobie, a friend of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, also shared the news on his Twitter account.
"The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th, according to Buckingham Palace. The Duchess of Sussex will spend the rest of her time in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."
The royal biographer went on to say: "Archie's fourth birthday (also on May 6) is said to have influenced the couple's choice. Prince Harry's visit to the UK will be brief, since he will only be attending the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey."
