Chris Pratt recently discussed his connection with his father-in-law and Terminator icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, stating that it means the "world" to him.
Pratt told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, "Arnold's support means the world to me on a couple of different levels." Being his son-in-law and part of his family, having his support obviously means a lot."
"But then, on another level, just being somebody who grew up loving his movies, the big action hero - I dreamed of being Commando and dreamed of being the soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator," the 43-year-old revealed.
As a result, the Passenger star continued, "Arnold to give me kudos for going out and being on the marquee is really kind of mind-blowing."
Earlier, Schwarzenegger congratulated his son-in-law on his new Marvel film on Twitter.
"Wow, I saw #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 last night. You nailed it, @prattprattpratt. A never-ending, perfect blend of comedy and action. "I loved it, and I'm so proud of you," he wrote.
During the conversation, Pratt also discussed his experience playing Star-Lord in the film for the past ten years.
"This character's heart, this character's soul, has always been mine." "That divine spark that exists in me is also present in this character," he continued.
