After her alleged connection with Ethan Slater became public, Ariana Grande was labelled a "homewrecker," something she has previously denied.
Almost a decade ago, the 30-year-old's friendship with Big Sean sparked significant charges from Big Sean's then-fiancée Naya Rivera.
In her 2016 memoir Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up, the Gee alum claimed that Big Sean called off their wedding preparations when she discovered Grande at the rapper's house prior to their engagement cancellation.
"On the one day he returned to LA, he indicated he didn't want to see me. "However, because she had a key, she let herself into his house," Rivera wrote.
"I walk in, go downstairs, and guess who's sitting cross-legged on the couch, listening to music?" "It rhymes with 'Smariana Schmande,'" said the late actor.
Big Sean and Grande started dating after he split from Rivera in 2014.
Since the publication of the book, the 30-year-old appears to have declined to address the charges publicly.
Meanwhile, Grande was being chastised by her new beau's wife, Lilly Jay.
According to PageSix, Jay was "completely blindsided" by his estranged husband's new affair.
"It's dreadful. They had been best friends since high school. They've had a child! She's a shambles."
Slater, on the other hand, has filed for divorce from his wife.
