A prominent journalist's criticism of Kate Middleton has placed her followers against Queen Camilla's supporters, after the Princess of Wales was chastised for not possessing the "Queen's joy in wearing jewellery."
Former Vogue editor Suzy Menkes called the Princess of Wales a "disappointment" for her approach to jewels.
Menkes noted on her podcast "Creative Conversations" that Kate seemed unconcerned by the array of rare and valuable diamonds she is blessed to wear.
The journalist has faced flak for her statements regarding Prince Willaim's wife.
Thousands of royal admirers made fun of the seasoned journalist's looks. Menkes' remarks appear to have turned fans of Kate and Queen Camilla against one another.
Emily HRH, a famous royal critic, reacted angrily to the journalist's statements about Kate Middleton.
She also made a jab at Queen Camilla when speaking on Suzy Menkes' programme.
"I am relieved that Catherin does not share Camilla's enthusiasm for smoking, destroying property, cheating, lying, stealing, and leaking," she stated.
Kate Middleton has been a target since she became Princess of Wales upon Queen Elizabeth's death.
During royal engagements, she and her husband William have been accused of trying to outdo King Charles and his wife.
