According to experts, there is 'absolutely no possibility' Prince Harry would ever be able to'replicate or reproduce' his previous triumphs.
Daniela Elser, a royal analyst, weighed in on the couple's difficult bid.
She revealed everything in an article for News.com.au.
"Now that we are on the other side of Harry and Meghan and Spare, what is emerging is that the duke and duchess are looking like the 21st century equivalent of Steven Bradbury sans skates," she wrote. That is to say, their triumphs are unlikely to be replicated or repeated."
In light of this, Ms Elser said, "The existential question is, take away their titles, and what do they have to offer?"
Because if the couple's proximity to the throne and their "formerly elevated, nearly magical status as royalty" are removed, what remains are "two people who, for the very first time, are being asked to stand on their own two feet creatively and intellectually."
"And right now, they are looking wanting," Ms Elser added at the close of the essay.
