Charles Spencer, Princess Diana's brother, revealed that he was in the 'final-final' stages of drafting a new book.
Spencer took to Instagram and Twitter at the same time to share a shot of his dog on the beach and discuss the book.
"When I'm in the "final-final" stage of writing a new book," Prince William and Harry's uncle said, "the most helpful thing for my overworked brain is an early morning walk on the beach."
He went on to say, "This morning, Joey and I had the whole place to ourselves."
Fans and friends sent Charles Spencer their best wishes for his new book.
"Best wishes for the final push!" one admirer said.
Another said, "I hope it's as good as The White Ship," alluding to his last novel.
