Is Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss's feud really over?
Karlie Kloss, a former close friend of Taylor Swift's, made an unexpected cameo at Swift's legendary "The Eras Tour" on Wednesday. This is a significant event since the two supposedly had a falling out, which resulted in the end of their long-standing relationship.
During the sold-out gig at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the former Victoria's Secret Angel, 31, was pictured excitedly enjoying the performance from the stands.
The surprising appearance of Kloss drew a lot of attention from Swift's following, known as Swifties. Many of them hurried to different social media sites to share their surprise and delight at seeing Kloss's support for her former lover.
As the night continued, Kloss, who recently became a mother for the second time with her husband Joshua Kushner, opted to immerse herself among the appreciative audience, soaking in Swift's mesmerising performance laced with her hallmark classics.
Notably, Kloss was spotted in the stands, far from the star-studded VIP area, adding to the surprise nature of her appearance.
This surprising appearance is a stunning change of events given that the once-thriving six-year friendship between Swift and Kloss was thought to have ended in 2019.
Their friendship began in late 2013, following Swift's performance at the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Swift's involvement resumed in 2014, when she returned to the Victoria's Secret catwalk. Their friendship was even featured on the cover of Vogue in 2015.
However, by 2017, rumours of discontent began to circulate, particularly after Kloss was spotted with Kendall Jenner, a member of a family with whom Swift had previously clashed.
Kloss's tight relationship with music executive Scooter Braun may have aggravated the problem. Swift's master recordings were bought by Braun's firm, Ithaca Holdings, in 2019, which Swift openly criticised. Her first six albums are now being re-recorded.
Fans began putting together evidence of a broken connection, pointing out that Swift missed both of Kloss' wedding ceremonies to Kushner. In 2019, allegations surfaced that their friendship had soured owing to Kloss' alleged exploitation of Swift's hospitality.
