Katy Perry, an American singer, is supposedly siding with Meghan Markle or King Charles.
The soprano, who lives in Montecito with the Duchess of Sussex, famously sung during King Charles' coronation in May, raising a few eyebrows.
Meanwhile, according to a source in Los Angeles, Katy and Meghan are no longer close: "Katy and I were close at one point, but she's been travelling a lot, so it's been difficult to maintain a close friendship."
"Katy performed at King Charles' coronation concert, so perhaps she's taken sides?" said another.
This comes as Meghan Markle'still holds Katy responsible' for a statement she made about the royal wedding gown in 2018.
"However, Meghan is acutely aware of a comment made by Katy Perry about her wedding dress in 2018 and is notorious for holding a grudge," the person stated.
"While the comment wasn't meant to be hurtful, Meghan felt under siege at the time and was overwhelmed by arguments with staff, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Thomas Markle," a LA insider added.
"I would not expect to see Meghan and Katy carpooling to PTA meetings anytime soon!" they said.
During the 2018 American Idol season, Katy remarked on Meghan's wedding gown, saying she would have done 'one more fitting' if she were the Duchess.
