On Monday, Meta co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg came to Threads to discuss his 'cage-fight' with Elon Musk, the owner of X (previously Twitter).
The news comes after Musk revealed on Sunday that his probable in-person clash with Mark Zuckerberg will be livestreamed on his social media platform X.
"Shouldn't we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?" Zuckerberg said, sharing an image of Musk's X post on Threads. Zuckerberg responded on Threads to Musk's post on preparing for the war, adding, "I am ready today." When he originally challenged, I proposed August 26, but he hasn't confirmed." "I'm not holding my breath," Meta's senior executive stated.
In late June, the two tech millionaires allegedly agreed to a "cage match" fight.
Zuckerberg has studied mixed martial arts (MMA) and was recently upgraded to blue belt in jiu-jitsu, a Brazilian self-defense and fighting sport.
Musk said on X Monday morning that he will compete in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) style.
"I'm going with @WWE as my fighting style," Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the world's richest person, stated.

The banter between Musk and Zuckerberg has gotten a lot of attention on social media, especially after Zuckerberg created Threads, which is perceived as a competitor to Musk's Twitter (now X).
It all began when Musk, who owns X, replied to a tweet about Meta preparing to unveil the alleged 'Twitter-killer' Threads.
He made a joke about the globe falling "exclusively under Zuck's thumb with no other options," but a Twitter user playfully reminded Musk about Zuckerberg's jiu-jitsu training.
"I love sports and will continue competing with people who train no matter what happens here," Zuckerberg wrote on Threads on Monday. In fact, the Meta CEO has been heavily utilising Threads for posting updates since the social media company debuted Twitter's competitor last month.
With Musk's track record of tweeting about action too soon or not at all, it remains to be seen whether the two social media moguls make it to the ring in Las Vegas.
