The death anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II will be commemorated in a particular fashion by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who will attend this year's Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, will pay special tribute to Her Majesty.
According to a source, "they will of course acknowledge and pay their respects to Her Majesty in their own way." The Sussexes, they continued, "haven't received any information or invitation to plans marking the anniversary of her death."
However, King Charles will spend the day "quietly and privately" in Balmoral in Scotland.
The royal insider went on to say regarding the historic occasion, "Her Majesty's passing was an event that truly signified the end of an era." Since then, the Royal Family has been in transition, and following the Coronation and the end of the summer holidays, there will be anticipation of what comes next."
Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September 2022. Her Majesty spent her final days in Balmoral Castle with her successor and now King, Charles.
