Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have heightened the excitement for Season 2 of Welcome To Wrexham by revealing a royal visit from none other than King Charles, the 74-year-old himself.
The first season of their programme was a tremendous smash on Disney Plus, and the teaser for the second season has been published, with Ryan, a 46-year-old Hollywood actor, outlining the circumstances that led him and Rob to acquire Wrexham.
Rob recalled Wrexham's terrible semi-final defeat, saying, "Since we started putting our time and effort into Wrexham, it has resulted in the building of an authentic, real, and powerful community," according to Metro.
The audience's thoughts were blown when Ryan said, "So, the King of England called," and then King Charles appeared on-screen shaking hands with Ryan.
The King and Queen Camilla paid a visit to Wrexham in December 2022.
