Julia Fox wrote a poignant email to her family after making an unexpected revelation about her love interest.
The actress provided a heartbreaking insight on her experiences as a young 'orphan', describing how she was "scapegoated, emotionally neglected, and severely misunderstood" during the most important stage of her life.
The Down The Drain author said that she did not have a "traditional" family to celebrate Christmas with.
She stated, "I was too proud to seek company and too humiliated to acknowledge I had none.
"Due to some unexpected and sad circumstances, I was left alone with a newborn. By that time, I had moved out of the house I had lived with them for nearly a decade and into a small apartment with a guy who would abandon me soon after giving birth."
Julia claimed that her friends provided her with support and comfort, raising her up during a time when she felt overwhelmed and 'drowning in pain'.
The model revealed that she met her 'chosen' family three years ago, and they are now "living together under one roof."
She also acknowledged to "co-parenting a happy little boy" while they navigated their journey together.
