Queen Camilla 'upset' Prince William and Kate Middleton with a stunning gesture at a royal gathering.
Robert Jobson, a royal biographer, said in his latest book, Catherine, The Princess of Wales: The Biography, that Queen Consort once encouraged the Monarch to leave the Prince and Princess of Wales behind when they left for Windsor Castle.
He went on: "As William and Catherine emerged, all they could see were the blue flashing lights of the motorbikes disappearing in the distance."
However, Camilla and Harry's friendship has improved since Charles and Kate's cancer diagnoses.
Previously, royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine that the royals' health issues drew the two working royals together.
Her words went: "They have been left, almost literally, nursing the crown while the King and the Princess recover."
"There are only a few people a senior royal may completely trust... Camilla must now be one of them for William. "And I'm sure it's a two-way street, with William providing moral support to Camilla as well," Jennie said.
According to the royal commentator, "When Charles was kept waiting several minutes for the couple, Camilla insisted they go without them."
