Taylor Swift has regained the top place on the Billboard 200 album list with her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
According to Billboard, Taylor's album, which was published on April 19, spent the first 12 weeks at the top of the albums list before Eminem's The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) displaced her to Tortured Poets in late July. Her album spent two weeks at number four.
According to Luminate, Taylor's 11th album recovered the number one spot in the United States after selling 71,000 equivalent album units in the week of August 1.
According to the publication, Morgan Wallen's One Thing at a Time was the last album to spend at least 13 weeks at number one, spending 19 total nonconsecutive weeks there between March 2023 and March of this year.
Taylor took to Instagram in July to celebrate her 12th week at number one and thank her fans for their continued support.
"I also wanted to say to everyone who has supported The Tortured Poets Department, I am utterly blown away by what you've done - it remained at #1 for the first 12 weeks of its release, which has never occurred to one of my albums before, not even close!! "You're just the greatest," she commented on July 20, with photographs from her Eras Tour performances in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Meanwhile, Taylor will play three nights in Vienna, Austria, from August 8 to 10. She will then play in London from August 15 to August 20.
