Zara Tindall, Princess Anne's daughter, has finally broken her silence, sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse at one of horse racing's most famous events following her Olympic loss.
Zara, King Charles III's niece, has provided a behind-the-scenes view at one of horse racing's most famous events after suffering Olympic heartbreak, evidently showing her passion for the sport.
The 43-year-old daughter of Princess Anne will appear in a new documentary about the last day of the Cheltenham Festival and the Gold Cup.
Zara, a former Olympian, told ITV's Champions: Full Gallop: "There are a lot of expectations. There are many aspirations that individuals desire to pursue.
"Everyone wants to have a win at Cheltenham, and Gold Cup is obviously the biggest."
Mike Tindall's wife's words came after she received heartbreaking news that she will not be representing Team GB in the Paris Olympics this summer, more than a decade after her silver medal win in London 2012.
Tindall told Vogue in 2022 that she was back in training for the Olympics, seeking to mix riding with caring for her three children.
Zara, who is said to be excited about a potential new royal role because Prince William sees her as a good addition to the team of working royals, won gold at the European Championships in 2005 and silver at the World Equestrian Games in 2006, after which she was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
