Fans of Fast and Furious are shocked by the actor's surprise tease.
Vin Diesel, the franchise's face, provided insight into the precarious situation of Fast X: Part 2, the impending sequel to Fast X.
Diesel tweeted on Thursday, portraying a significantly less upbeat picture than many had imagined for Thanksgiving.
"I got Universal in one ear, saying we need Fast X2 by March 2026!" Concast is in the other ear, suggesting we need two movies for the finale! Then the Fast Five writer emailed me this graphic and stated we needed to see DOM and HOBBS work out their problems," Diesel said in his article.
"I simply want to get back to actual street racing, realistic stunts, and a reunion with that wonderful fraternity. "Happy Thanksgiving..."
The Fast X franchise grossed $704 million internationally, surpassing the previous best. Fans are left in amazement, wondering whether the sequel would ever be released.
As 2026 approaches, the Fast & Furious franchise will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
