Prince Harry may have a difficult time waiting for him when he returns home from the Invictus Games in Canada.
The Duke of Sussex, who is continuing the ceremonies after Meghan Markle returned to California for a few days with their children, has found himself entangled in a new court struggle over his US visa.
The Heritage Foundation sued the Department of Homeland Security in 2020, alleging that Harry, despite admitting to drug use, obtained preferential treatment in his US immigration application.
While a federal court ruled in Harry's favour, the issue was revisited after Donald Trump was inaugurated as US president in January.
This time, Judge Carl Nichols had warned Harry that the application may be publicized. Court filings show that the hearing is scheduled on Thursday, February 20, for the US government to specify which legal documents relating to the case can be divulged.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry is still cheering on the athletes at the Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler. The adapted sporting event will end with a closing ceremony on Sunday, February 16th, 2025.
It's unclear whether Meghan will attend the huge occasion.
