Meghan Markle is preparing to launch her highly anticipated lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard, but the path has apparently been fraught with unanticipated challenges.
According to royal analyst Tom Quinn, the Duchess of Sussex has received criticism over supposed goods associated with the business, which has reportedly created stress and strain in her marriage to Prince Harry.
"Like all couples, Harry and Meghan have their disagreements, but being together almost constantly can intensify challenges," she said.
He also stated that unfavorable comments to Meghan's business initiatives had influenced their relationship, particularly when some criticized her rumored items as "gimmicky."
One of the most recent rumors is that Meghan wants to produce a bottle of rosé under her brand, which has been received with skepticism from certain reviewers. Despite the outcry, her forthcoming product line looks to be growing.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit events in Canada for Harry's Invictus Games, insiders say Meghan plans to introduce her branded jams when she returns from Vancouver and Whistler, marking the next phase in her brand's progression.
American Riviera Orchard will make its debut at two large retail complexes in the United States, between Dallas and Philadelphia.
The brand, which is expected to provide a wide range of products, including gourmet jams, specialty teas, coffee blends, home décor items, pet care needs, and quality olive oil, would initially be accessible at select retail locations.
This launch will coincide with the debut of Meghan's highly anticipated Netflix cookery show, With Love, Meghan. The program was originally scheduled for release in January, but was postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires and will now premiere on March 4.
