Following the conclusion of the Invictus Games 2025 in Vancouver's Rogers Arena on Sunday, Prince Harry offered a personal message.
The Duke of Sussex made a major announcement regarding his next mission in a statement posted on the Montecito couple's official website, Sussex.com.
Harry's team revealed poignant moments from the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler conclusion, when the "extraordinary spirit of our competitors, the strength of their journeys, and the power of unity" were recognized.
"The closing ceremony marked a bittersweet end to this remarkable chapter, as we gathered one last time to honour the competitors who have made us all proud," according to the press release.
The Duke also thanked the performers who entertained the audience, including The War and Treaty, Marie-Mai, Jelly Roll, and Barenaked Ladies.
A spokeswoman for the Sussexes noted that competitors from over 23 countries competed in the games and shown their perseverance and commitment.
In his passionate statement, Harry stated, "I can't stand before you and swear there won't be difficult days ahead. But I guarantee you, you're better prepared than you were before."
"You have recovered what was lost. We repaired what was broken. Achieved the impossible. Remember what makes you tick. Hold on to it. Rely on it. Use it to benefit yourself and people around you. "For service to one another will save us," the father of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet stated.
Notably, Harry pledged to maintain the Invictus Games Foundation's aim of "supporting and empowering those who serve and have served."
