Prince Harry sent a heartfelt statement after his cancer-stricken father, King Charles, disclosed his emotional request during a high-profile trip to Italy.
The Duke of Sussex, who was in the UK for a court hearing related to his security matter on April 8 and 9, chose to conduct a visit to war-torn Ukraine on April 10.
According to Sussex.com, Harry went to the Superhumans Center in Lviv, which is a "world class, state of the art facility providing prosthesis, rehabilitation, reconstructive surgery, and psychological care for those affected by the war."
"By delivering these services, the organization works to restore functionality, promote social integration and enhance the quality of life for both military personnel and civilians impacted by the ongoing conflict," according to a release.
Harry was accompanied by pals from the UK Invictus group on his surprise visit following a court hearing.
Furthermore, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's father spoke with the Ukrainian Invictus Games community, which included Yulia (Taira) Paievska. He also met with Natalia Kalmykova, Ukraine's Minister of Veterans Affairs.
Harry praised the work and bravery of "everyone at the Center, and celebrating the strength of the Ukrainian soul."
It is worth noting that the Duke of Sussex's declaration occurred shortly after his father, King Charles, stated that he wanted to "live long enough to see a little bit of growth in the tree" that he planted in Villa Wolkonsky in Rome.
