The Archewell Foundation, founded by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, appears to have issued a statement in response to the recent contentious action.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched the Foundation in 2020 after leaving the royal family to assist philanthropic projects important to their hearts.
After Archewell got a harsh response for shutting off charity donations, Harry and Meghan's organisation is now attempting to move on from the incident.
On Wednesday, the Foundation sent out a critical warning regarding youngsters who have been lost to social media.
"The Archewell Foundation celebrates a powerful example of progress made possible by our partners at the Social Media Victims Law Center (SMVLC) and the courageous families they represent-families who have turned personal tragedy into a moment for justice and accountability in the digital space."
They proceeded to "urge leaders across industries and society to continue being proactive in enacting safeguards and legislation to keep children safe online" in their statement.
The change comes after the organization raised eyebrows by cutting off financing to a Muslim charity "out of respect for all of [its] partners" and "a responsibility to [its] donors".
Janan Najeeb, the founder and Executive Director of Muslim Women's Coalition, penned an opinion article in a recognized journal asking for an end to the ongoing strife, prompting the move.
In reaction to Archewell, Janan wrote a scathing rejoinder as the foundation was compelled to justify their choice.
Janan had stated there was "painful irony" in Archewell's decision, which was made after "the leader of a women's organisation dared to speak out against the creation of more war survivors".
"Who you fund is ultimately your decision, but we ask that you retract your defamatory statements and issue a public apology," she said. She continued: "not to salvage our reputation, which remains pristine, but to salvage yours."
