David Beckham is apparently frightened of starting over.
As fans will be know, the former England player will be 50 on May 2, 2025.
However, a fresh story from Heat Magazine claims that he has been having secret concerns about his age.
A source revealed to the newspaper that "David has been secretly freaking out about turning 50."
In addition, the insider added that, contrary to his public statements, David is not immune to the normal fears connected with aging.
"He has publicly stated that he is unconcerned with his age, but the fact is that he is as concerned about it as the rest of us. It's only natural," the spy stated at the end of this discussion.
David appears to have been attempting to distract himself from these anxieties by keeping his family near.
According to a recent Sun piece on David, "What he actually really loves, and wants more than anything, is some quiet time with Victoria and their kids away from it all."
"That's the thing he's looking forward to the most," said another insider.
Finally, the insider revealed David's birthday plans, stating that they would take place "somewhere in Europe" and that the entire event will be a "surprise" for him.
