Gwyneth Paltrow says she 'won't be a pawn' in Meghan Markle 'clickbait'

 

Gwyneth Paltrow has had enough of being pitted against Meghan Markle.

On the April 24th edition of The World's First Podcast With Erin & Sara Foster, the Iron Man actor, 53, emphatically denied fans' persistent rumors that she is feuding with the Duchess of Sussex.

"You know what I won't be at this point in my life?" the actress asked. "I won't be a pawn in some drummed-up, triangulation of women feud for your f***ing clickbait."

Paltrow sharply rejected the feuding women storyline, saying, "Leave us out of it." Do not do that. "I will not stand for that."

Speculation of a conflict between the two entrepreneurs began earlier this year, when Meghan debuted her current brand, As Ever, and her Netflix program, With Love Meghan. Despite the fact that they never said anything unpleasant about each other, many admirers interpreted everything they did negatively.

However, the Goop founder wants nothing more than for the Confessions of a Female Founder creation to be successful.

"Again, I wish Meghan all the best. It's awesome what she's doing. I am proud of her. Paltrow stated on the program that every woman has the right to pursue any career she desires.

Paltrow and Markle have already addressed the claims. On March 25, Paltrow released a funny video on her Instagram Stories at a period of high speculation.

"I genuinely do not understand any of this," she stated as she sat at her kitchen table. She then turned the camera to Markle and said, "Do you understand this?"

In answer, Markle merely shrugged and ate some pie.
