According to The London Times, the Princess of Wales may assist Prince William from the sidelines, but she has "hugely influential" power in critical decisions and planning.
Penny Junor, a royal biographer, told the publication, "She never tries to outshine him. I believe Kate is similar to Prince Philip in her support for the Queen.
Furthermore, a source stated that the Princess of Wales is "hugely influential behind the scenes in hiring and decision-making, and they approach it as a team."
"Like the late Queen and Prince Philip, and The King and Queen [Camilla], they're a good double act," a source told CNN.
According to the site, Kate Middleton serves as a "gatekeeper," ensuring that Prince William can perform his work while simultaneously finding time to be a hands-on father, and that everyone knows the arrangement.
