Kate Middleton is said to be distraught as Prince Louis, her youngest son, approaches a significant milestone.
The Princess of Wales has always been seen as a devoted mother to all three children she has with Prince William, but many have noted Kate's significantly stronger feelings for Prince Louis.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte's sibling will reach a significant milestone in the coming days. Louis will celebrate his seventh birthday on Wednesday, April 23.
However, given that the youngest kid is far from a toddler, royal writer Jennie Bond says Kate will experience'mixed emotions'.
"Being the youngest is frequently considered a luxury. You get away with a lot more, and being the lastborn makes you that little bit unique," Bond told The Mirror.
"Catherine probably lets Louis run wild more than she did with Georg," she added, adding that Kate and William are "very experienced parents".
Bond also stated that the future king and queen "love all three kids equally" but "probably in different ways".
"George because he's the firstborn and has a destiny to fulfil, Charlotte because she's the only girl, and Louis because he's the youngest."
