Kate Middleton, who is apparently trying to finally restore relations between Prince William and Prince Harry, was furious when her brother-in-law shocked her with his latest maneuver.
Prince Harry and Kate had a strong relationship while the Duke of Sussex was still a member of the royal family. The two had a deep relationship, which was evident in their numerous public engagements together.
Following her cancer struggle last year, Kate reflected about the rift and decided not to continue it. According to sources, Harry has disappointed Kate following his recent two-day judicial hearing over security in the UK.
Earlier this month, Harry claimed that the Firm reduced his security to keep him in the royal fold, "confirming [his] worst fears".
"Harry's allegations didn't come as a huge surprise to most of the royals," said an insider. "They've grown very accustomed to him laying the blame for his troubles squarely at his family's door."
However, according to the insider, Kate is "particularly devastated by the turn of events".
"It still stings that [Harry's] managed to have yet another dig, insinuating that they forged this elaborate plot to keep him and Meghan trapped in the UK."
Prince Harry, who had filed an appeal against the UK Home Office over his police protection, is currently awaiting the outcome of his legal processes in London.
Following the court session, Harry was plainly upset and unhappy with how the proceedings proceeded. In the subsequent interview, he did not hesitate to express disgust and rage.
He stated that "people would be shocked by what's being held back" from the public during the private court hearings.
