Cassidy really hates leaving her guy alone. In a recent interview with Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast, she detailed her final talk with the popstar before departing Argentina.
The social media influencer said, "I remember sitting there with him and going on and on about how much I love him, and he chuckled and interrupted me, saying, "Kate, you're going to miss your flight; your vehicle is in the driveway."
Liam informed her, "You're acting like this is the last time you are ever gone see me again."
She remembered giggling back at him. Kate elaborated: "But to look back in time & know that that was the last time I was ever going see him again is just so chilling."
However, she considers herself fortunate to have shared such a 'heartfelt goodbye' with her late lover.
Payne died on October 16, 2024, after falling from the balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
