Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a high-profile event in New York on Wednesday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the star-studded gala, and a member of the royal family was also invited.
The Duchess was asked to speak at the sixth annual TIME100 Summit. Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, was also present for the ceremony.
Despite allegations of a conflict between Prince Harry and his cousin, Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie, Edoardo appeared to make little effort to meet up with the Sussexes and left on Wednesday.
Following the event, Meghan released a statement on the star-studded event, where she was interviewed by Jessica Sibley, CEO of TIME Magazine, in a lively discussion.
The Sussex office emphasized Meghan's discussion of her "evolving role as a female founder, strategic business leader, and working mother" in a statement.
"Throughout the conversation, Meghan reflected on the intentionality that drives her work—leading with purpose, creating with care, and building a legacy that champions women and uplifts communities," she said. "She spoke candidly about her entrepreneurial journey and latest ventures."
The mother of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet provided "a grounded and personal perspective on motherhood, creativity, and carving out space for what matters most" while also discussing the balance between her public and private lives.
The comment comes on the heels of a key decision for Prince Harry, who is awaiting a ruling on his security dispute.
While a source stated that Harry's legal team is "cautiously optimistic," it is unclear whether King Charles' son will eventually obtain police protection when he visits the United Kingdom.
