Motorola has unveiled considerable updates to Moto AI, the company's in-house artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. The Lenovo-owned company said on Thursday that Moto AI will now include four new AI features: Next Move, Playlist Studio, Image Studio, and Look and Talk. Furthermore, the business is collaborating with big AI players like Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Perplexity to incorporate their products into Moto AI. The integration also offers a free three-month trial of Perplexity Pro and Google One AI Premium memberships for compatible devices.
Moto AI Chatbot Remains in Beta Testing
In a press article, Motorola stated that it is expanding the use case of Moto AI, which was introduced as an open beta program for select devices in December 2024, as well as distributing it to additional people. The chatbot is currently in testing. Moto AI is presently available on the newest Razr and Edge smartphones.
The business stated that thousands of customers tested Moto AI and its current functions, including Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, and Remember This. Look and Talk is now only available for the Moto Razr 60 Ultra (Razr Ultra in the United States). Motorola Announces Partnerships with AI Players
Motorola is working with Google to incorporate Gemini and Gemini Live into its handsets. Users of Razr series smartphones will also be able to access the chatbot via the external display. Aside from that, the business is providing a three-month trial of the Google One AI Premium plan, which includes access to Gemini Advanced, Gemini in Workspace, and 2TB of cloud storage.

Microsoft Copilot is also being implemented into the Motorola Razr Ultra and Edge 60 Pro. This allows users to access the Copilot chatbot directly through Moto AI.
Finally, the Lenovo-owned business is integrating Perplexity's AI search engine with Moto AI. When users enter online search terms, the chatbot displays the "Explore with Perplexity" option. If customers choose it, the company's AI search will return a thorough result.
Additionally, all Motorola devices released after March 3 will have a three-month trial of the Perplexity Pro membership. This deal is only accessible to new Perplexity Pro subscribers.
