Prince William, King Charles' successor to the throne, is secretly preparing for his future in the royal family while undergoing cancer treatment.
Several stories over the last month have stated that the moment will arrive "sooner than expected," despite the monarch continuing to exhibit encouraging indications of development.
Despite Queen Camilla's and Palace officials' persistent requests to "slow down," the King has always managed his royal obligations and state trips while also convalescing when necessary.
During his reign, Charles has violated various royal traditions and implemented several modifications that differ from those of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth.
Royal analysts predict that William's reign will be "very different" from the current one. Kate and William will take a more "modernised" approach.
However, one will stay consistent with the monarchy of Elizabeth and Charles, according to royal biographer Robert Hardman.
The author told Harper's Bazaar that when William ascends, the monarchy's essential constitutional function would remain unchanged, "just as it hasn't with King Charles."
Meanwhile, royal expert Tom Quinn predicted that William and Kate will be a "much more emotionally engaged couple".
"It's partly because I think they want to be a king and queen who are seen to engage much more with ordinary people in a very relaxed way," according to the report.
