Prince William and Prince Harry have not spoken since the Duke of Sussex wrote Spare, a bombshell memoir that humiliated his family.
The Prince of Wales is apparently still hurt and angry with his brother, and he is struggling to forgive. There is also suspicion that William still has a soft spot for Harry, as Kate Middleton serves as a'mediator'.
However, the future king appears to have made a direct statement regarding his feelings for the Duke of Sussex and his potential return to the royal fold.
Jason Knauf, the former royal assistant who revealed Meghan's alleged mistreatment of Kensington Palace personnel, was "rewarded" for his allegiance. Jason has been chosen CEO of The Earthshot Prize, William's environmental project aimed at tackling the planet's most pressing challenges.
"Prince William's decision to appoint Jason Knauf, the Sussexes' former private secretary, as CEO of his most prestigious project will enrage Harry and Meghan," royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital.
"It is impossible to avoid feeling that this is precisely what William intended."
According to royal analysts, this is a strong indication that the schism between King Charles' two sons is irreparable.
He observed that both parties look hesitant to make atonement, despite their forceful gestures.
"Knauf is unquestionably a pariah in the eyes of the Sussexes," Fitzwilliams stated. "William is clearly showing he doesn't care about what his brother thinks, much less Meghan."
He also noted that the royal schism between the two brothers "seems permanent".
The claim comes as Prince Harry awaits a critical verdict in his security case in the UK. The Duke of Sussex has been fighting for his police protection, filing an appeal against the Home Office.
The Duke attended the two-day judicial procedures in London last week, implying that his "life is at stake". Sources said Harry's legal team is "cautiously optimistic" about the verdict, which is due in the coming weeks.
