Teddi Mellencamp has confessed that she was unable to control her emotions after discovering cancer scars on her head and arms.
The TV star took to Instagram on Monday to post a snapshot of the scars from her brain surgery.
Teddi said in the caption of her post that she discovered she had brain and lung tumors during her emergency room visit.
"Since that day, I've had multiple surgeries, had rage from the steroids, felt very sick, laughed a lot, ridden horses, loved on my kids, and felt great," the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote.
"Peace comes from the tremendous support I get from my family and friends. Peace from the outpouring of love from everyone on here. "I find peace knowing that my story could help someone save their life," the 43-year-old said.
Teddi concluded her caption with, "Sending love to anyone struggling and reminding you to get checked if something doesn't feel right." Advocate for yourself.
In February, the television star reported that her melanoma had spread to her lungs and brain.
