Tom Hardy has finally spoken out on the Pride and Prejudice audition rumours.
During an exclusive conversation with VT on the promotional campaign for his new Netflix feature Havoc, The Dark Knight Rises star addressed a story that has been making news for some time.
He told the site, "I did not receive an audition. A nice producer informed me clearly that every woman has an idea or concept of Mr Darcy, and I'm afraid, Tom, you're not it. That's showbusiness."
The Venom star then went on to describe his on-set experience, stating, "I feel horrible saying that. I had some fun at times, but I wish I had more. I wish I were less concerned about it.
"I felt a little miscast, like 'I'm not dishy enough. "But it worked out."
For those who are unaware, Havoc will be accessible on Netflix on April 25, 2025, and will star the extremely gifted Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, and Yeo Yann Yann.
