Tom Hardy is presently preparing for his forthcoming part in Mad Max: The Wasteland, despite a conflict with co-star Charlize Theron on the film's set.
To the amazement of many, the actor is repeating his role as an anti-hero after previously playing Max in the 2015 picture.
This comes after Charlize, who plays the groundbreaking character of Furiosa in the film, had a falling out with Tom over the demands of the highly anticipated production.
In an exclusive interview with The Telegraph, filmmaker George Miller stated, "They were just two very different performers." Tom is damaged, but he is also brilliant, and whatever was going on with him at the moment, he had to be coaxed out of his trailer.
"Whereas Charlize was incredibly disciplined - a dancer by training, which told in the precision of her performance - and always the first one on set."
Anya Taylor-Joy is expected to play Furiosa in the franchise's next installment.
Although the film is rumored to be in development, the filmmaker stated that he will prioritize other projects first.
