Meghan Markle is unfazed by opposition as she makes significant progress in her economic career amidst rising royal tensions.
The Duchess of Sussex, who spoke at the Time100 Summit in New York City, stated that she is planning a new project following As Ever's success.
Meghan explained that, following her Netflix appearance, podcast series, and lifestyle company, she is now trying to "uplift other female founders" by investing in additional female-founded businesses.
"That is very, very important to me because they are so under-resourced and under-supported," she told Inc. over phone.
The former Suits actress has previously invested in consumer products such as Highbrow Hippie, a haircare and wellness company, and Clevr, a vegan instant latte brand. She has invested in women's health firms such as Midi Health, which provides a virtual care platform for women going through perimenopause and menopause.
Following her New York appearance, the Duchess of Sussex issued a statement via the Sussex website.
"Meghan reflected on the intentionality that drives her work—leading with purpose, creating with care, and building a legacy that champions women and uplifts communities," according to the press release.
"She opened up about her entrepreneurial experience and newest endeavors. The talk also focused on Meghan's ability to strike a balance between her public and private lives. She provided a realistic and genuine perspective on family, creativity, and making time for what matters most."
