The relationship between King Charles and Prince Harry has apparently hit a new low following the duke's tearful interview.
Prince Harry discussed reconciliation with King Charles and other members of the royal family in an interview with the BBC earlier this month.
Archie and Lilibet's devoted father informed the newspaper that he "would love a reconciliation" with the Royal Family.
Harry responded, "I'd like to reconcile with my family; there's no use in fighting longer. Life is precious, and I don't know how much longer my father has; he won't speak to me because of this security issue."
However, a source close to Prince Harry feels the interview revealed a lack of trust between him and the royal family.
The insider has said that Harry's activities have "taken its toll" on the couple.
According to the Daily Express, the insider told Hello! Magazine that "there is zero trust," and that "the family feels that private conversations with Harry are impossible."
The insider went on to add, "It has taken its toll." He sees things everywhere, picks fights with everyone, and it's exhausting.
"You can't survive in constant warfare mode. You are a forty-year-old guy. "You have to stop fighting the world."
