The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made a rare solo appearance in London after Buckingham Palace made a major announcement regarding a state visit.
On Tuesday afternoon, Kate Middleton presented the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at a distinguished London event.
The event was held at London's 180 Studios and presented by the British Fashion Council.
Every year, the prize is given to a young British fashion designer who exemplifies great talent and creativity.
Cameron Walker, a royal specialist, posted to X, the previous Twitter name, to broadcast footage of Kate Middleton during the event.

Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since the palace announced the state visit.
The Palace has announced that King Charles and Queen Camilla will entertain President of France Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron at Windsor Castle in July.
The palace statement begins: "The President of the French Republic, His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Mrs Brigitte Macron, has accepted an invitation from His Majesty The King to pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom from Tuesday 8th July to Thursday 10th July 2025."
It also said, "Their Majesties "The President and Mrs Macron will be hosted by the King and Queen at Windsor Castle."
