Meghan Markle appears to be becoming increasingly irritated with Kate Middleton, and it all has to do with an ex-girlfriend of her husband Prince Harry.
An intimate insider disclosed the cause for the schism between the sister-in-laws, telling Closer magazine that "supporting Chelsy's jewellery line [Aya] has sparked frustrations within the Sussex household."
Their "move was perceived as deliberate and only fanned the flames rather than help bring the Sussexes and Waleses closer together."
And because "Harry and Meghan have been open to a reconciliation in recent years, it hasn't gotten past William or Kate."
"[William and Kate] feel there is too much water under the bridge and damage done to be able to come back from it."
This isn't the first time the Duchess has reportedly been insulted by members of the Firm; in her Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, Meghan said that she was compelled to wear "camel, beige, and white" to avoid clashing with other royals.
However, Zara Tindall and even Princess Charlotte attended Christmas that year, and according to the same source, "Meghan's comments about royals not wearing the same colour proved to be quite a comedy moment for the women in the royal family."
"As a result, they resolved to attend the following function wearing the same hue. The action wasn't overlooked on the other side of the water.
