The Royal Family recently marked the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
As Britain commemorates the conclusion of World War II, King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with close and senior family members, honored the historic occasion.
The first photograph in the family's official Instagram post is a combination of a vintage photo from the 1945 celebration and a photo from today, 2025.
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, attended the ceremony and were praised by the royals for doing a "spectacular flypast."
Kate Middleton, the adored Princess of Wales who was recently diagnosed with cancer but has made a remarkable recovery, attended the ceremony with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
In addition, a video was released on the social media network, offering insight into the VE Day event.
It featured a military march with the King waving to the numerous supporters in attendance, as well as his spouse, Queen Camilla, who donned a magnificent royal blue dress and matching hat.
The highlights were captioned: "More from VE Day celebrations at the Queen Victoria Memorial and the balcony of Buckingham Palace"
