King Charles replies to Prince Harry's startling accusation following security case setback.
King Charles and the Royal Family have broken their silence on Prince Harry's accusation that his loss in the UK security struggle was a "establishment stitch-up."
A Buckingham Palace official responded to Harry's assertion, telling The Sun newspaper, "All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion."
Harry lost his final appeal against the Home Office and the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures, or Ravec. The Duke of Sussex requested VIP-level protection for his travels to his native nation after his and Meghan Markle's security was reduced following their retirement from royal responsibilities and move to the United States.
After the UK Court decided against Harry, the Duke gave a candid interview in which he discussed his relationship with his family as well as his thoughts on the judgment.
He told the BBC, "I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point," and expressed regret for not being able to introduce his homeland to his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In a shocking remark, he also stated that his father, the King, who no longer speaks to him, may still assist in this problem, not by meddling, but by "getting out of the way and letting the experts do their jobs."
