According to the most recent UK wealth rankings, King Charles III's personal fortune has increased by £30 million to £640 million, moving him up 20 places to 258th overall.
According to the Telegraph, this makes the monarch substantially richer than his mother was prior to her death.
In 2022, the late Queen was estimated to be worth £370 million.
Charles III became king after his mother, Queen Elizabeth, died in September 2022 at the age of 96.
