Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are clinging to their royal titles, according to an expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to keep in touch with the last of their ties to the British Royal Family and will go to any extent to do so.
Matt Wilkinson of The Sun questioned expert Mark Borowski, "Why do you think she's using her HRH title and clinging to her Sussex name rather than Markle?".
Mark remarked, "Well, it's obviously social capital." I'm sure her PA uses it to guarantee she gets the best table at a restaurant.
"It will have a huge weight in America to have that kudos of still having that sort of royal aura around her."
"It's not a great look in my estimation."
Katie agreed, adding, "I think it just poses a bit of a hypocrisy element."
"You've repeatedly assailed this organization, yet you want to keep all of the amenities and privileges that come with membership, including, of course, the titles.
"She doesn't really need to be using the Duchess of Sussex, but of course, that sets her aside from everyone else, including top list, A-list Hollywood celebrities," he told me.
