According to the results of the most recent YouGov royal favourability tracker survey, only 27% of Britons have a good impression of Prince Harry, while 63% have a negative opinion of him, his lowest score since early 2023.
The survey was done following Prince Harry's shocking interview with the BBC, in which he indicated a wish for reconciliation with the Royal Family.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's wife, continues to poll poorly with the people, with only 20% having a good impression of her and 65% negative.
One in every five people had a positive opinion of the Duchess of Sussex, the lowest level recorded by YouGov since it began measuring her popularity in 2017.
"Attitudes towards the Sussexes continue to differ greatly between generations - while 18-24 year olds are split on the pair, they are very widely disliked by the oldest Britons, with 81-86% having an unfavourable view of them," according to the poll results, which suggested Meghan Markle's popularity had reached its lowest point to date.
Prince Harry expressed his desire for reconciliation with the British royal family in an emotional interview with the BBC earlier this month, but his father, King Charles, has refused to talk with him due to a security dispute.
Harry said he had no idea how long the king, who has cancer, would survive.
"I'd love to reconcile with my family," Harry stated. "Life is precious. I'm not sure how much longer my father has. He won't communicate with me because of security concerns, although it would be good to reconcile."
Harry retired from royal responsibilities in 2020 and relocated to the United States, where he now lives in California with his American wife Meghan and their two children.
