An anti-monarchy organization insulted Prince William when a British journalist announced on Friday that the Prince of Wales will attend Saturday's FA Cup final between Crystal Palace and Manchester City.
Republic reacted on writer Richard Palmer's article on X, writing, "Anchor football match he'll put down as work."
The post appeared to relate to the criticism William frequently receives from certain royal followers, who view the Prince of Wales as uninterested in royal responsibilities.

William and his eldest son, Prince George, are die-hard Aston Villa fans, whose team was eliminated by Palace in the playoffs. Prince George did not accompany his father to the last match.
