Selena Gomez appeared at Rare Beauty's 4th annual Mental Health Summit.
During her presentation at the event on Thursday, Selena revealed the "goal" of her company, Rare Beauty.
In her moving statement, the Only Murders in the Building actress spoke about her own mental health difficulties, adding, "The goal was always to bring some sort of mental health access to people in every community because I didn't have that."
"I went through a pretty strange period until I realized I was bipolar, and there was clarity there. It may appear daunting to others, but releasing your own narrative allows for greater freedom and discourse," Selena added.
Selena Gomez invited 175 attendees to the one-day summit of Rare Beauty's annual event for a panel discussion on mental health issues.
Notably, the actress and singer initially established Rare Beauty, a beauty and skincare line that encourages self-acceptance and mental health awareness, in 2020.
