Alan Cumming, who will return as Nightcrawler in the forthcoming Avengers: Doomsday, revealed something that might be a spoiler.
During an interview with Buzzfeed UK, the British actor discussed shooting the upcoming Marvel tentpole.
However, during the chat, he humorously stated, "I was studying acrobatics yesterday for some fight scene and I was thinking, 'I'm 60 years old. I played that superhero 23 years ago. Even at the time, I was too old to be a superhero."
He said, "And now I'm back at it. That strikes me as amusing. I'm sort of learning these conflicts and I'm like, "What?" "Who am I fighting with?" And they said, 'You're striking Pedro Pascal on the head,' or whatever.
However, Alan's statements point to a clash between the Avengers and the X-Men in Doomsday.
However, it is uncertain whether he divulged the premise of possibly the most awaited superhero picture because he stated this while joking.
Though it's no secret that the Avengers, New Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four have traded blows in the comics.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released on May 1, 2026.
