In a Weibo post, Xiaomi confirmed that the Xiaomi 15s Pro would be released on May 22. The launch ceremony in China will commence at 7:00 p.m. (4:30 p.m. IST). During its 15th anniversary celebration, the firm will also unveil the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and Xiaomi YU7 SUV. Its proprietary XRING 01 chipset is also anticipated to be launched on the same day. This processor, which uses a 3nm technology, will make its debut on the Xiaomi 15s Pro.
Xiaomi 15s Pro Specifications (expected)
Except for the processor, the Chinese tech firm has yet to divulge the specifications of its new smartphones. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 15s Pro with model number 25042PN24C appeared in the Geekbench database, disclosing some of its major specifications. The listing implies that the phone will be powered by a 10-core CPU and a motherboard dubbed 'O1_asic'.
The XRING 01 CPU features a 2+4+2+2 architecture, with two prime CPU cores clocked at 3.90GHz, four cores capped at 3.40GHz, and two cores clocked at 1.89GHz. The CPU additionally has two cores clocked at 1.80GHz.
The Xiaomi 15s Pro achieved a single-core score of 3,119 and a multi-core score of 9,673. The phone runs Android 15 and is rumored to have 16GB of RAM. These figures are pretty good, showing that the CPU outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and is comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is said to feature a 14-inch display with 3.2K resolution. It may accommodate up to 120W of wired charging. It is most likely to operate on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
