Zara Tindall, the late Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter, has admitted to a wardrobe mishap.
Zara, a talented equestrian and a prominent member of the Royal Family, nearly dropped her shoe at Westminster Abbey during her grandmother's vigil.
Zara questioned a visitor at a charity event last week: "Did you see my shoe slipped off? "The heels I was wearing to the vigil?"
"We were heading out, up the steps, and I was wearing tights and my shoes were a little wide. We were all strolling up the stairs when my shoe came off. William was in front of me, while my brother stood beside me.
Zara then said that she had hoped Prince Harry could assist her in retrieving the sneaker.
"I went up the next step and was like, 'Should I pick it up...or let Harry pick it up?'" So basically, I scooped it up and walked in. William walked around the corner and said, 'What are you doing?' "I was like 'I have lost my shoe!'"
